Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Pulsar 180 in the Indian market and it has been replaced by the new Pulsar 180F. Several Bajaj dealers have confirmed that the standard variant of the Pulsar 180 has been discontinued but the new Pulsar 180F with quarter fairing will continue to remain on sale.
The overall design of the new Bajaj Pulsar 180F is similar to its elder sibling, the Pulsar 220F. Apart from that the Pulsar 180F also gets the Neon theme paint scheme which gives a new look to the motorcycle. The rest of the mechanical components remains the same as the standard variant of the Pulsar 180.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180F draws power from a 178.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 16.7bhp and 14.22Nm of torque. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends but the motorcycle misses out on ABS. Bajaj is expected to offer single-channel ABS on the Pulsar 180F in the coming days.
Bajaj is also working on the new variant of Pulsar, Platina and CT. The new variants will be introduced in June 2019. The new models will be equipped with new features and it is expected to comply with the new safety and emission norms. Bajaj has also launched the new 2019 Dominar 400 with a host of updates.
