Ducati has launched the Multistrada 1260 Enduro adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro is an off-road focussed version of the Multistrada. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro is available in two variants: Ducati Red and Sand colour options. The Ducati Red is priced at ₹19.99 lakh and the Sand is priced at ₹20.23 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (India).
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro draws power from the existing 1,262cc Testastretta DVT, L-twin engine that produces 156bhp and 127Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shifter. The motorcycle is equipped with spoke wheels: 19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear.
The electronic gizmo on the Multistrada 1260 Enduro includes ride by wire, electronic semi-active Sachs suspension and 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) which controls the Bosch cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control and Ducati Cornering Lights. Other rider assistance features include traction control and vehicle hold control (VHC).
The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro features four riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. The motorcycle gets a 30-litre fuel tank and the claimed full tank range stands at over 450km. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro also features a 5-inch colour TFT display and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS). The rider can connect his/her smartphone to the DMS via Bluetooth.
