Honda City ZX petrol variant launched in India with a manual gearbox. The City ZX manual trim is priced at ₹12.75 lakh and Honda launched this variant owing to high demand. Also, along with the launch of this model, Honda has taken the opportunity to introduce new colours and give the car a few updates.
Speaking of the updates, the Honda City now comes with parking sensors as standard across its range. This will be a mandatory feature soon and Honda has managed to sneak in this feature already.
Honda has also introduced two new colour options for the City and they are ‘Radiant Red Metallic’ and ‘Lunar Silver Metallic’. Other features that distinguish the newly-launched ZX model from the VX trim are the side and curtain airbags, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps and wipers, and a soft touch dash.
Mechanically, there are no changes and the City ZX trim is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that makes 118 bhp and 145 Nm of torque with the help of the new update — a 5-speed manual gearbox.
