Hyundai has updated the Elite i20 premium hatchback with new features. The MY2019 Hyundai Elite i20 gets an update in the form of new trims and features. Motorbeam reports that the 2019 Hyundai Elite i20 is available in four variants: Era, Magna+, Sportz+ and Asta (O).
The base Era variant of the hatchback now gets features such as rear parking sensors and Eco Coating. The Magna+ variant comes with features such as chrome grille, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, keyless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, Bluetooth and voice recognition.
The Sportz and Asta variants have been replaced by Sportz+ trim. The single-tone variant is equipped with 15-inch gunmetal alloy wheels and the dual-tone variant gets 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and blacked out ORVMs.
Other features of the Sportz+ trim include a chrome grille, rear parking camera, Arkamys infotainment system, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel and sliding front armrest. The CVT and dual-tone variants get wireless charging. The top-spec Asta (O) trim is now offered with a CVT gearbox and also gets wireless charging.
The MY2019 Hyundai Elite i20 draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 82bhp and 115Nm of torque while the diesel unit churns out 89bhp and 220Nm of torque. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox while the diesel engine gets a 6-speed manual gearbox.
