Hyundai India launched the Venue compact SUV in the country in May 2019. The Hyundai Venue has been a hit in the Indian market and SUV is selling in good numbers. At the time of launch, the dual-tone colour option was available only on the SX trim. Now, Autocar India reports that the top-spec SX+ and SX(O) trim of the SUV will also get the dual-tone colour option.
The SX(O) trim of the Hyundai Venue is offered with 1-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine. The SX(O) trim is available with the manual gearbox. The SX+ trim of the Hyundai Venue is offered with the 1-litre petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. So, the dual-tone colours will be available on both manual and automatic gearbox options.
The Hyundai Venue is offered with three engine options: 1-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, 1-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine are coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the 1-litre petrol unit also gets a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The dual-tone variants of the Hyundai Venue will take on its rivals such as Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, which are also available with dual-tone colour options. Expect a slight increase in the price of the new dual-tone variants of the Hyundai Venue as compared to the regular monotone colour.
