Jeep India has started accepting bookings for the Compass Trailhawk in the country. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk can be booked by making an advance payment of ₹50,000 at the company’s 82 dealerships across the country. The Compass Trailhawk is the new top-spec variant of the SUV.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk comes with a ‘Trail Rated’ badge which reflects its off-roading capability. The ground clearance of the Compass Trailhawk has been increased by 30mm to tackle rough terrains. The SUV also gets Active Drive Low 4x4 system which comes with hill-decent control, low-range and a new Rock mode for the Select-Terrain system.
The Compass Trailhawk is loaded with features such as an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and navigation, automatic climate control, cruise control, 7-inch MID and much more. Standard safety features include six airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control, reverse parking sensors with camera, hill-start assist and much more.
The Jeep Compass Trailhawk draws power from a BS-VI compliant 2-litre diesel engine that produces 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk will be launched in July 2019 and we expect it to carry a price tag of around ₹24 lakh ex-showroom.
