The much-awaited MG Hector has finally been revealed ahead of its official launch in June this year. After multiple spy pictures and an in-depth look at its connectivity features, the MG Hector has been revealed in full glory.
MG Hector - Design and dimension
The MG Hector’s first impression is its size — it is bigger in dimensions compared to the Tata Harrier or the Mahindra XUV500. The Hector borrows its styling cues from the Baojun 530, with a large chrome grille, upside-down headlight design (increasingly common), muscular design lines, and prominent creases on the bonnet.
The wheels look a bit small, although they are 17-inches in diameter, owing to the vehicles squarish wheel arches. The MG Hector features a lot of chrome and black accents, including body cladding for the lower half of the SUV.

Features and specifications of the MG Hector
The MG Hector will be available in four trim levels — Style, Super, Smart and Sharp — and in 13 variants. Inside, the Hector features a 10.4-inch touchscreen, called iSmart. The infotainment system features a host of connected features powered by an Airtel sim card.
The Hector is generous in terms of interior space and the seats are finished in faux leather, while the dash blends in well with the SUV. Other features to look out for with the top-spec variants include ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, power adjustable driver and passenger seat, a flat rear floor, 587-litres of boot space, heated ORVMs, cameras, auto headlights and wipers, subwoofer with an amplifier, and much more.
