British automaker MG Motor is all set to unveil the Hector SUV in India on May 15, 2019. Ahead of that more details of the SUV have been revealed. A report from CarWale reveals the variants, features and specifications of the MG Hector SUV. The MG Hector will be launched in India in June 2019.
The MG Hector will be offered in four variants: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. The top-spec trim will be equipped with segment-first features such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, voice recognition, TPMS, internet and much more.
Other prominent features of the MG Hector include a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and fog lamps, remote car functions and much more. The MG Hector will be equipped with safety features such as disc brakes on all four wheels, ESP, traction control, hill-hold assist and much more.
The SUV measures 4,655mm in length, 1,835mm in width, 1,760mm in height and the wheelbase stands at 2,750mm. Hector has a ground clearance of 192mm. The SUV will be offered in five colour options: Glaze Red, Burgundy Red, Starry Black, Aurora Silver and Candy White.
The MG Hector will draw power from a 1.5-litre petrol and a 2-litre diesel engine. Both the engines will be mated to a manual gearbox and an optional dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The petrol engine will also get a mild-hybrid system for enhanced fuel efficiency.
