Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the XUV300 SUV in the country on February 14, 2019. The bookings for the Mahindra XUV300 had opened in January and now the company has revealed that the compact SUV has already received 4,000 bookings. Apart from that, the XUV300 has also received over 60,000 enquiries.
The Mahindra XUV300 has been one of the most anticipated SUVs in the Indian market. The Mahindra XUV300 is based on the SsangYong Tivoli and Mahindra has done really well in terms of the exterior design of the SUV. The overall design is inspired by the bigger XUV500.
The top-spec variant of the Mahindra XUV300 comes loaded with features such as seven airbags, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof and much more. The standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and much more.
The Mahindra XUV300 will draw power from a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 108bhp and 200Nmof torque while the diesel unit is good for 115bhp and 300Nm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The automatic gearbox is also on the cards.
The Mahindra XUV300 is expected to be priced in the range of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh ex-showroom. When launched in India, the XUV300 will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Ford EcoSport.
