Mini has launched the new Countryman Black Edition in the Indian market. The Mini Countryman Black Edition is priced at Rs 42.40 lakh ex-showroom. The Countryman Black Edition is a limited edition model and it is limited to just 24 units for the Indian market. The Mini Countryman Black Edition features cosmetic changes to enhance the appeal of the SUV.
The Mini Countryman Black Edition features a new black grille, piano black trim for the headlight and tail light, JCW carbon fibre finished ORVMs, black bonnet stripes, black roof rails and Countryman lettering in piano black on the tailgate. The Mini Countryman Black Edition gets 18-inch JCW alloy wheels.
The interior of the Mini Countryman Back Edition features an all-black theme with JCW steering wheel and interior trim. Other prominent features of the limited edition model include a heads-up display (HUD), panoramic glass roof, Harmon and Kardon audio system, Mini wired package, electric sports seats, dual-zone climate control and much more.
The Mini Countryman Black Edition draws power from a 2-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 189bhp and 280Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. The Countryman JCW is capable of sprinting from 0-100km//h in just 7.5 seconds. The Mini Countryman Black Edition rivals the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLA, Volvo XC40 and the Audi Q3.
