Renault India has reduced the prices of the Captur SUV. The discount offer applies only to the MY2018 models of the Renault Captur. The Captur was launched in the Indian market in November 2017 at a starting price of ₹9.99 lakh.
Renault India has slashed the prices of the top-spec trims and the prices of the base RXE and RXL variants remain unchanged. Below are the discount details.
- RXT Dual Tone (Petrol): ₹41,000
- RXT Dual Tone (Diesel): ₹60,000
- Platine (Diesel): ₹81,000
After the discount, the petrol version of the Renault Captur is priced between ₹10 lakh to ₹11.46 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The diesel models are priced in the range of ₹10.99 lakh to ₹13.25 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Renault has reduced the prices of the Captur ahead of the launch of the Nissan Kicks.
The Renault Captur draws power from a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit produces 104bhp and 140Nm of torque while the diesel engine churns out 108bhp and 240Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Renault Captur has been a poor performer in the market and with the competition getting fierce, Renault has slashed the prices of the top-spec variants. One of the new rivals of the Captur is the upcoming Kicks which will be launched this month.
