Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Gixxer SF MotoGP edition in the country. The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition is priced at ₹1,10,605 ex-showroom (Delhi). The MotoGP edition of the Gixxer SF features Racing Blue colour and decals inspired by the Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP team. There are no changes done to the overall design of the motorcycle.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition gets Suzuki Ecstar decals on the sides and the alloy wheels also get pinstripes. Suzuki launched the 2019 Gixxer SF in India in May and it is priced at ₹1.09 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The MotoGP edition is dearer by around ₹1,500 as compared to the regular model.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP Edition draws power from the same 155cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine that produces 14bhp and 14Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. There are no changes in the cycle parts too. The MotoGP edition of the Gixxer SF gets disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS.
With the livery inspired by the Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP team, the Gixxer SF looks sporty and aggressive as compared to the regular model. Suzuki has played a vital role in the Indian motorsport arena with its Gixxer Cup one-make racing championship and now the company has introduced the MotoGP inspired Gixxer SF.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition rivals the likes of Hero Xtreme 200s and the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0.
