TVS Motor Company has launched the new Ntorq 125 Race Edition with a host of cosmetic updates. The TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition is priced at ₹62,995 ex-showroom (Delhi). The Race Edition variant of the Ntorq 125 is expensive by ₹2,000 as compared to the disc brake variant of the scooter.
The newly launched TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition features LED headlamp, LED DRL and hazard lamp which can be switched on or off using a switch on the handlebar. The Ntorq 125 Race Edition also gets a new three-tone colour scheme with a combination of matte black, metallic black and red colours. The scooter also sports the Race Edition decals on the side panels.
Mechanically, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition remains the same. The scooter draws power from the same 124cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm of torque. The scooter is equipped with disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and monoshock suspension at the rear.
The TVS Ntorq 125 is India’s first Bluetooth connected scooter and it also comes with a smartphone app called TVS Connect. The Race Edition scooter gets a special race-inspired user interface for the app. The Ntorq 125 Race Edition can be booked across the TVS dealerships in the country.
